Halley Feaster
Halley is a Contemporary and Classical Acoustic and Electric Cellist, with a dual Bachelor’s Degree from Berklee College of Music in Performance and Professional Music. She has extensive experience both on stage and in the studio, and loves collaboration and creating great things with others.

Nate Price
Nate Price, a Sacramento California native, began playing music at age seven and performing at age twelve. He studied at Berklee College of Music where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Music. Today, Nate primarily plays bass guitar but has studied piano, guitar, ukulele, drum set, and mallet percussion.

Samantha Galletly
Samantha Galletly, a versatile musician with a passion for bass performance, holds a B.F.A. from Carnegie Mellon, an M.M. from Indiana University, and an Artist Diploma from Duquesne University. She had the honor to perform with many wonderful orchestras during her career, including the Pittsburgh Symphony and the Sarasota Opera. Beyond her performance career, she lends her expertise as a repair specialist at Robert Cauer Violins in Hollywood, showcasing her commitment to instrument craftsmanship.However, it’s her commitment to nurturing young talent that truly defines her career. Samantha’s love for teaching shines through her dedication to private teaching and her role as a low string coach at Chaparral Middle School. A true multi-instrumentalist, Samantha’s musical talents extend beyond the bass, as she has a love for playing all string instruments. Her multifaceted career reflects a genuine dedication to excellence in both performance and pedagogy.

Lauren Shafer
Lauren Shafer is a mezzo-soprano from Central Illinois, with a Master of Music in Vocal Performance at California State University Northridge. She performs regularly with the Guild Opera Company and Grammy Award-Winning Choir, the Pacific Chorale.

Henry Darragh
Henry is an educator, composer, arranger, trombonist, pianist, vocalist and recording artist. He received his Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Houston. He has released numerous recording projects under his name and also his Houston hip hop big band Doc Loc and the Swangers.

Baran Ehsaei
Baran Ehsaei is an interdisciplinary performance artist, conductor, and educator working across music, theater, and film. Originally from Iran, Ehsaei began studies in Dramatic Literature at Soore University in Tehran while working as a professional theater artist before moving to the United States to complete a BFA in Performance/Composition at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), with a focus on voice/piano extended techniques and improvisation across genres.
Her work engages themes of voice, migration, and inherited memory through experimental storytelling and research-driven performance.
Alongside her creative practice, Ehsaei works as a private music instructor, piano technician, and performing musician. She is currently developing an educational initiative dedicated to expanding access to interdisciplinary arts education for underserved global communities.

Jeremiah Lamph
Jeremiah Lamph is a performing vocalist, guitarist, bassist and pianist with a deep passion for nurturing musical talent at all ages. He has extensive experience in the live music setting—both on stage and behind the mixing board—and in recording. He is also an experienced performer of extended vocal techniques, such as Overtone, Subharmonic and Distorted singing. He is currently finishing his Bachelor’s Degree in Music and Vocal Performance at California Institute of the Arts.

Christian Ruiz
Christian Ruiz Mendoza is UCLA graduate with a degree in Global Jazz studies, performance experience in a wide array of styles ranging from classical guitar, to jazz, rock, blues, latin, pop, and metal. Multiple years of study in music theory and composition, and experience in teaching guitar, ukelele and bass guitar.

Daniel Adams
Mr. Dan Adams has been teaching for over 20 years. He is Suzuki and Orff certified, and offers private, semi private (2) and group classes to all ages and backgrounds. Owner of OC and LA Strings, he has experience teaching in public and private schools and offers a variety of instruments: Violin, Viola, Guitar, Piano, Ukulele, Trumpet and Music Production. Daniel is also an active studio and concert musician. He works in TV, Film and has performed with artists like Adele, Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, OneRepublic and more!

Justin Slosberg
I started drumming at 7 which imbued me with a strong sense of rhythm. At 12, I began studying guitar - the art of melody.
At 17 I was accepted into Berklee College of Music on an early acceptance, where I studied both drums and guitar with a major in Music Performance.
At 24 I began studying audio engineering at the Conservatory of Recording Arts where I developed mastery of Ableton, Pro Tools, and gained extensive hands-on experience with API and SSL consoles.

Now, I work as a producer, multi-instrumentalist, and educator. I write my own music and love helping others see their musical ideas to fruition.

Gilbert Torres
Gilbert is an up and coming saxophonist and flutist in the Los Angeles area with a plethora of teaching experience. He is a graduate of the California State University’s renowned jazz program, where received his Bachelors in Music. In addition to teaching, he maintains a busy schedule, playing gigs of all styles of music.

Abel Cecchi
With over ten years of experience playing the trombone, I have dedicated significant time and effort to honing my skills in music. My journey began in high school, where I had the honor to perform at venues such as the Hollywood Bowl and the Central Avenue Jazz Festival. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, I continued my musical education at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music.
At Oberlin, I refined my abilities as both a bandleader and a sideman, performing in various ensembles and studio sessions. My expertise spans western classical music, various Latin music styles, swing, bebop, avant-garde/experimental genres, and more. This diverse background has equipped me with versatile sight-reading, listening, improvisational, and ensemble skills. Under the guidance of Jay Ashby, John Gruber, and the legendary Eddie Henderson, I gained invaluable experience that I apply daily.
The skills I've developed through gigging, networking, and being an active ensemble member have greatly influenced my other professional endeavors. Working effectively within a team has become second nature to me, as I've learned to balance efficiency with a commitment to quality. I excel in strategy and problem-solving, whether dealing with logistical or artistic challenges. Engaging with strangers to answer questions or seek information is something I enjoy, and I am comfortable doing so in both English and Spanish.
I am eager to connect with fellow professionals and explore new opportunities where I can leverage my diverse skill set and experiences. Let’s connect and see how we can collaborate!

Miss Dani is a multi-faceted music educator with a background studying Music Therapy.

She teaches Piano, Voice, Guitar, Bass, and Songwriting students of all ages and levels.

Dani also teaches our weekly First Step Music Class for toddlers on Friday mornings!

Jacqueline Pabst
Jacqueline began her violin studies at the Colburn School, where she trained through her primary and secondary school years. During high school, she performed for three seasons with the American Youth Symphony under the direction of Alexander Treger, participating in chamber music programs and competitions. At 16, Jacqueline won a concerto competition and performed the Bruch Violin Concerto with the Los Angeles Valley Symphony.

Jacqueline recently graduated with a degree in violin performance from California State University, Northridge (CSUN), where she studied with Lorenz Gamma and Roberto Cani. While at CSUN, she received the Colburn Scholarship and made history as the first undergraduate in six years to serve as concertmaster of the CSUN Symphony.
​
Jacqueline also performs with the Palm Springs Symphony and the Topanga Symphony and has a wealth of knowledge about rehearsing and performing in an orchestra. She is a pro at helping violin students become orchestra stars!
​
In addition to her performance experience, Jacqueline has taught students of all ages and abilities, including differently abled learners. She has also successfully adapted to online teaching, maintaining an engaging virtual presence. Jacqueline’s teaching emphasizes technical development, musical expression, and fostering student confidence and enjoyment.

With a supportive and dedicated approach, she is committed to inspiring the next generation of violinists.

Vikram Sinha
Vikram is a guitarist, bassist, and vocalist with extensive experience as a performer. His own music education includes participating in many live performances and several inter-school competitions with his high school choir.
In 2019 he founded the metal band “Nirnaeth,” in which he leads with growling vocals and blazing guitar solos.
He also joined the band “Diabology” as a bassist, and has been touring and playing regularly with them for several years.
At CalArts, Vik was a music major with a focus on guitar, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Performance.

Joey Gold
Joey Gold is a Los Angeles native who started their music journey at age nine, formerly trained and specialized in drums.
They now study music composition and performance at California Institute of the Arts and are soon receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Joey teaches a variety of different instruments and focuses including drums, guitar, music composition and production.
